RESTAURANTS — UAE

The last ten minutes of dinner, down to seconds.

Tabz is the checkout your POS is missing. Guests scan the QR on their table, see the live bill under your branding, split it, tip your team by name and pay in the browser — while your floor staff pour, plate and seat instead of chasing card machines.

The launch story

Built on real dining floors.

Tabz is backed by Sharjah-based investors with direct ownership ties to popular cafés in Al Jada, Sharjah — so it launches on tables its backers actually own, then rolls out to restaurants across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

The product is engineered and operated by VSPR, a Dubai software & systems studio: the browser checkout, the venue-branded live bill and the payout rails are built and run by the same team that answers your call.

Full service

The wave for the bill dies here.

From the first order, the live bill sits on the table — one scan away, always current. When dinner winds down nobody performs semaphore at a waiter: guests open the bill on their own phones, split it evenly, by item or by custom share, and pay where they sit.

Every minute a finished table waits for a card machine is a minute the next party stands at the door. Move the checkout onto the table and the slowest stretch of the meal disappears from your floor — the same room simply serves more dinners a night.

Tipping lives inside the payment, not in a cash jar. Guests tip the venue and the waiter by name, so the person who carried the shift is on the record for it — and the team stays whole.

And the floor sees it settle, live: which tables have paid, which are still open, how service is moving tonight — table-level visibility without adding a single device to the room.

FAQ

Questions, answered

  • How much does pay at table cost a restaurant?

The published targets: commission under 2% per transaction and payout to the venue in about 48 hours — both indicative targets, subject to final payment-processing terms. Diners pay AED 0. Full pricing detail lives on the main Tabz page.

  • Does Tabz work with my POS?

Yes — Tabz works alongside whatever POS you run today. It is not a POS and never replaces one: it is the checkout your POS is missing, with no rip-out and no retraining.

  • Do guests download anything?

No. Guests scan the table QR and everything opens in the browser — the browser is the app. Nothing to download, nothing to install, and the diner fee is AED 0.

  • How do tips reach my staff?

Tips are part of the payment itself: a guest tips the venue and the waiter by name in the same browser flow they pay in. Every tip lands on the record with the person who earned it — no second QR, no cash-jar arithmetic.

  • Which cities does Tabz serve?

Tabz is launching across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, with a launch network in Al Jada, Sharjah.
