PAY AT TABLE — ABU DHABI

Abu Dhabi, the bill is settled.

Tabz is launching in Abu Dhabi — truthfully framed: the rollout is underway, not on every corner yet. Guests scan the QR on the table, see the live bill under the venue’s branding, split it, tip the team and pay in the browser. No app, no hardware, AED 0 diner fee.

The rollout

Three cities, one checkout.

Tabz launches from its home network in Al Jada, Sharjah, and rolls out across Dubai and Abu Dhabi — three cities, the same browser checkout, the same AED 0 diner fee. Abu Dhabi venues joining now come aboard as the rollout reaches them, and onboarding is quick because there is no hardware to install.

Behind all three datelines is one operator: Tabz is engineered and operated UAE-wide by VSPR, a Dubai software & systems studio founded in Sharjah — the same team runs the checkout, the venue-branded live bill and the payout rails in every emirate it serves.

For the islands

Resort dining runs on trays and cabanas.

On Yas and Saadiyat, the table is not always a table — it is a room-service tray, a pool lounger, a cabana. Tabz treats them all the same: the guest scans the QR on the tray card or the table tent, the live bill opens under the hotel’s own branding, and Apple Pay closes it. It works alongside the systems the hotel already runs — Tabz is not a POS and replaces nothing.

Along the water

Corniche to Yas, stop by stop.

Abu Dhabi’s dining runs along its coastline, and each stretch asks something different of the checkout:

Corniche

The café mile: morning coffees, family evenings, tables that turn all day. A scan settles each one without a walk to the till.

Al Maryah Island

Business dining on a schedule — lunches between meetings, dinners that close deals. The bill settles in the browser before the handshake reaches the door.

Saadiyat

Resort dining from breakfast terrace to beach club. One QR carries the same branded checkout to every outlet, and the tip reaches the person who carried the tray.

Yas Island

Destination F&B on event nights: big groups, full houses, everyone leaving at once. Tables settle themselves — evenly, by item or by share — instead of queueing for one machine.

FAQ

Questions, answered

  • Is Tabz available in Abu Dhabi?

Tabz is launching in Abu Dhabi — the rollout is underway, not live on every corner yet. Venues from the Corniche to Al Maryah, Saadiyat and Yas can join now, and going live is fast because there is no hardware to install.

  • Does it suit hotel restaurants on Yas or Saadiyat?

Yes — hotel F&B is where the tray card shines. Room service, pool decks, beach clubs and lobby lounges all run on the same browser checkout under the hotel’s own branding, with tips routed by name to the person who carried the tray. It works alongside the hotel’s existing systems.

  • Do diners need an app?

No. Guests scan the table QR and everything opens in the browser — the browser is the app. Nothing to download, nothing to install, and the diner fee is AED 0.

  • How do venues get started?

Through the Tabz team: reach out from vspr.ae/tabz or write to tabz@vspr.ae. There is no hardware to buy and no POS to change — a venue goes live with QR stands on its tables and its own branding on the bill.
